Michael A. Gold, LL.M. is an attorney at the law firm of Walters Levine Klingensmith & Thomison, P.A. where he practices in the areas of construction and business litigation and criminal defense. PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTSMichael is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. Michael has represented individuals and entities in state and federal criminal prosecutions in white collar fraud cases such as securities fraud, bank fraud, and worker’s compensation fraud. Throughout his career, Michael has been an indispensable member of the legal team in some of the most high profile cases in the Tampa Bay area in the past 10 years. Michael lectures at continuing legal education seminars for both Lorman Education Services and the Tampa Bay Area Paralegal Association on electronic discovery and computerized litigation support software EDUCATION AND SCHOLASTICSMichael received his Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from the University of South Florida, his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from St. Thomas University School of Law, and his Masters in Securities and Financial Regulation, with distinction, from Georgetown University School of Law. While at St. Thomas University, Michael was Senior Article Editor of the St. Thomas University Law Review.
