Thomas C. Valentine
Thomas C. Valentine is an attorney in the law firm of Walters Levine & Lozano, where he practices in the areas of commercial and construction litigation and insurance disputes.
Tom has represented clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters including but not limited to personal injury, contract disputes, insurance coverage disputes, construction law, estate and probate litigation. He is admitted to practice before all state and local courts throughout Florida and is admitted to practice in the Middle District of Florida, Federal Court and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Sarasota Bar Association.
EDUCATION AND SCHOLASTICS
Tom was raised in Farmington, Michigan. After a tour of duty in the United States Army, he attended Michigan State University and in 1975 received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the Detroit College of Law in 1979.
Tom has enjoyed participating in charitable fundraising events for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He has also served the community by providing pro bono legal services through Legal Aid of Manasota, Inc. and volunteering as a presiding Judge in the Sarasota County’s Teen Court program.
