John C. Brock, Jr. is an attorney practicing in the areas of business litigation, construction, bankruptcy, and creditors’ rights.

John has experience representing creditors in bankruptcy court and state courts throughout Florida with a particular emphasis on mortgage and secured creditors in foreclosure matters.  John has also represented a variety of construction companies and contractors in state court and administrative matters before the Construction Industry Licensing Board and handled contested cases against Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  John is licensed to practice in the state of Florida’s courts and the federal district courts for the Middle District of Florida, the Southern District of Florida and the Northern District of Florida.

John received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Florida.  During his undergraduate work, John was a member of the Pre-Legal Honor Society and performed volunteer work for United Way.  John received a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 2005.  During law school, John served as an editor of the Florida Journal of International Law and was a judicial intern for the Honorable Alexander L. Paskay, Chief Judge Emeritus, for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.

John has presented on the topics of the OSHA inspection process and the importance of construction liens in bankruptcy for various construction trade groups.
