DeGrave has been named Co-Managing Shareholder of the Tampa office.  Heather is a pivotal member of the firm’s civil litigation team where she practices in the areas of construction, collections, and business litigation.  Heather is immediate past president of the National Association of Women in Construction – Tampa Chapter, and also regularly speaks on collections and construction related topics for the National Association of Credit Management and the National Business Institute.


After two years of aggressive litigation defending a failure to diagnose stroke case, Paula J. Lozano, Esq. and Saray Noda, Esq. obtained a complete dismissal with prejudice of all claims against their defendant physician. Congratulations to all for a fantastic result!


Paula J. Lozano presented at the Manatee County Medical Society on Saturday, January 13, 2018 to community physicians who required two hours of Continued Medical Education credits on the topic of Preventing Medical Errors.  The two hour presentation focused on the most common causes of medical errors, the benefit of a root cause analysis, the five most misdiagnosed medical conditions in Florida over the last two years, as well as strategies to prevent future medical errors.  The presentation was informative, interactive and a huge success!  Ms. Lozano remains available to present on a variety of medical-legal topics for physicians, physician groups, insurance companies, and hospitals.

Saray Noda, who recently joined Walters Levine & Lozano, was featured in the Florida Bar News for a project developed during her presidency of the 10th Circuit Young Lawyers Section. The “Crafting Justice” Poster contest asked middle and high school students in Polk County to create posters showing “What is Justice?” Ms. Noda presented the project for grant funding during the Florida Bar YLD’s Affiliate Outreach Conference. Several members of the 10th Circuit Judiciary selected the poster finalists, who were celebrated at a reception in April. (Read More)
